Fancy, a Percheron Mare spent her entire life as an Amish workhorse giving everything she had with no voice and no choice. When her body could no longer keep up with the demands placed on it, she was discarded, tossed aside like she no longer mattered. She ended up in a crowded kill pen in Arkansas, surrounded by other tired, broken horses facing the same fate. Underweight, scarred, her hooves overgrown and split, she stood quietly with nothing left in her eyes but exhaustion. After years of hard labor, her final destination was meant to be slaughter in Mexico. But her story didn’t end there. Fancy’s life of work and neglect is now being replaced with care, patience, and the chance to finally know what it feels like to simply be a horse... safe, valued, and loved.
We have a long road to recovery, reversing the neglect she once endured. Here at Blessings Farm she will have a forever home and a place of rest.

Our Mission
At Blessings Farm, our mission is simple. Save as many animals as we can and give them the life they were always meant to have. We provide rescue and sanctuary to animals of all kinds in distress, no matter their story. Some have been found in dumpsters, some left on the side of the road, and others surrendered by owners who could no longer care for them.
Every single one deserves safety, compassion, and a second chance.
We believe in accountability, in education, and in doing better for the voiceless.
There is NO excuse for animal abuse!

At Blessings Farm, our mission goes beyond rescue.
Alongside our animal rehab, we nurture a garden filled with flowers and fresh vegetables. A reminder that growth, healing, and beauty can come from even the hardest places.
You can’t change the world in one day, but you can make one small change to make your community better and safer.
That’s what we’re dedicated to every single day.
We also donate goods to local shelters and facilities within our community, extending compassion wherever it’s needed most.

BoJack,
A stunning Percheron stallion, currently in quarantine in Texas after being saved from another kill pen. He’s undergoing a full vet check and receiving his health certificate before making the journey to upstate New York.
With every rescue, it’s always a gamble. You never truly know what condition they’ll arrive in or what hidden battles they’ve been fighting.
BoJack was scheduled to be on the next truck for the end of the road, we couldn't stand to see another life lost. Instead of fear and uncertainty, his future holds safety and proper care. We are beyond excited to help bring this big beautiful boy where he is wanted and loved.
